Josh Bauder is a PhD candidate in music composition at the University of Minnesota, where he also studies conducting and music theory. Winner of the 2010 Jerome Grant for New Music and the 2015 VocalEssence Carol Contest, Josh is currently working on his dissertation, an oratorio about William Tyndale. In addition to music, Josh nurtures interests in fiction, architecture, politics, and philosophy. He lives in St. Michael, Minnesota.
